ABOUT
Over the past 20 years, Margret Eicher has created an impressive oeuvre of large-format textile works, executed in Jacquard weaving on ultramodern looms in Belgium. Her tapestries are works of art that deal with the imagery that we encounter every day in advertising and the news. The artist digitally alienates the mundane motifs and often puts them in context with well-known works of art history.
