Charif Benhelima (b.1967 in Brussels) lives and works in Antwerp and Rio de Janeiro). He studied photography and film at the Higher Institute Saint Lucas in Brussels and at the Higher Institute for Fine Arts Flanders in Antwerp from which he graduated in 1995 and 1998 repectively.
